Question:

The picture here does not seem to be for a 6' - 8' wide by 4' - 6' long chain harrow. Is this lift the same as what is shown for Item No. 10505? I have my own chain harrow and am looking for a lift for it. My harrow has two sections each of which or approximately 4' x 4'. I believe this lift kit would work nicely. If I am on the right track, along with Lift Kit 10223, would I also be able to purchase an extra Draw Bar? I would like to have a Draw Bar on the leading and trailing edges.

- Yes, it is similar to item 10505. if you have two 4x4 harrow sections and buy an additional 8ft drawbar it will work perfectly as a 8' wide and 4 ft long chain harrow with 3 point hook up arrangement. Thank you.

Good Product at a Fair Price

I had been looking at making a 3-point frame for my drag harrow when I ran across this unit. Looked to be pretty solid and a good price so I ordered it. Delivery was pretty quick. The unit is made out of heavy steel and the surfaces all have a heavy coat of paint. Should hold up for years. As for assembly, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Poor picture quality and zero written assembly steps. I got it put together as I'm sure anyone with any mechanicaly knowledge could. But it would have gone much smoother and quicker with better instructions. Unit performed well once attached to my tractor. I will probably make a few mods to make it easier to switch which way I am dragging my harrow. Overall I'm satisfied with this piece of equipment, but work on better assembly instructions.
